I feel a deep, organic connection with the branch as we collaborate to create art. My process starts in nature, taking impressions from trunks, rocks, and pine needles. In the studio, I work with branches, barks, and leaves dipped in color, allowing them to express freely on the canvas while I also express myself. This freedom mirrors my personal exploration, driving my growth and evolution. Inspired by Donna Haraway’s notion of mutual becoming, my painting reflects a symbiotic relationship with nature.
